Too Shy To Stare 2010
Auditions in July will decide about the participants for this Choreographers' Venture. Davis Freeman will work with 14 performers for 7-10 days to create a new adaptation of his infamous 2002 piece Too Shy to Stare. By using the existing scores along with impulses of the participants, he will create a new performance that will be performed at ImPulsTanz 2010 for 14 shows. Too shy to stare is an emotional crusade that questions how we see ourselves and how others see us. It’s a two-hour performance for only 10 people at a time and the audience must have their photo taken before they can see the performance.
