The creation process Five days to deal with the process of creation, immersing us into the time that is necessary to search, to invent and to construct. We research movement in the same way as we research a language that enables us to express our thoughts, our inner worlds, our errors... to integrate the dance into the dramatical discourse we create - even if it is connected with confrontation, friction or discrepancies. We will transform movement and dance into a theatrical situation and vice versa, where the boundaries of both approach each other. Without following a narrative lead, the movement becomes the "thought in movement“ of the dancer/actor who will dive with body and soul into a river s/he cannot evade, and who will be confronted with the present moment as well as with short - and longtime memories. Different states and stories permeate the body - all this becomes apparent in movement. By letting the sediment settle we will reach for the essence and continue from there. Using the specific theatrical and physical potential of the participants in the best possible way, we will research a specific body language with improvisation and composition. Gabriela Carrizzo and Franck Chartier worked with Alain Platel and the Needcompany before starting the collective Peeping Tom in 1999. Their production "Le jardin" received international attention and has been presented at ImPulsTanz 2005.
