Guided structures of dance and contact improvisation lead us to our movement impulses: dancing, we get into conversations; whirling, we make speeches; we ask our questions while walking and join into tumbling discussions. Dance conversations open up, and we surprise ourselves and our partners with qualities we didn't know about.
