This class invites you to explore physical expression through the diversity of Brazilian music. Inspired by the gentle sounds of Bossa Nova and the powerful expressiveness of MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), we explore movement as a connection between rhythm, emotion and community. With flowing, soft movements we take up the lively character of Bossa Nova, while the dynamic pulse of MPB and Samba encourages more earthy, percussive and playful forms of expression.
