 Popular culture in Spain – as in many other European countries – was strongly influenced by jazz, blues, and rock music in the early 1970s. Flamenco was no exception. From a rich musical repertoire, we select tracks for Rumba Rocks! and dance short, groovy choreographies that are fun and offer a glimpse into Flamenco and its festive party dances – the “bailes festeros”. Let’s head outside and dance Flamenco to electric guitars and keyboards, because: Rumba Rocks!
