Together with the three young choreographers from Togo, Burkina Faso and Mali, the essential elements of contemporary dance practised by them will be explored. They will take the participants on a journey through their choreographic vocabulary, which is anchored in various unique styles of modern dance in West Africa. By referencing their deeply personal solos, the artists invite the experience of how to transform a personal experience into a universal art form through movement.
