Régine Chopinot & Ballet Atlantique (FR)
St. Georges

St. Georges

Exhilaration, imagination and irony characterize Régine Chopinot’s work. The visionary of the Ballet Atlantique whose wondrous ideas are marked by the world of comics and movies studies in detail the manifold types of human movement as regards their artistic ambiguity.
In “Saint Georges” she tries to explore the dance that might be hidden in Romanesque reliefs. In “Facade” that premiered a few weeks ago Régine Chopinot was inspired by poems by the bizarre English poet Edith Sitwell. Austrian premiere of the Compagnie Chopinot.
