Who remembers Mid Atlantic? Künstlerhaustheater Wien, 15 November 1982: that’s when the first performance of this piece took place, which introduced Liz King’s Tanztheater Wien to the public, thus heralding a new era of dance in Vienna. Now we present a revival of excerpts from works by the group, which disbanded about ten years ago. Founding members like Esther Linley as well as artists from the second generation such as Mani Obeya and Daphne Strothmann perform, bringing with them tasters e.g. from Schwanensee Remixed, which was a huge success at the Volksoper Vienna, from Inschrift für Eden [Inscription for Eden] and, again, Mid Atlantic.
