A performance in which things get to carry different meanings. Dusk is falling. Contours are blurring, shadows dissolving. The night approaches from the horizon. An amazing encounter may be observed: the Viennese performance artist originally from Japan, Michikazu Matsune, and the Canadian dancer and singer Clara Furey are not very much alike. But what does this signify except that precisely this difference creates moments of unique energy. That irony meets tenderness and that absurdity and sensitivity find a connection to each other. Furey drew the audience’s attention at ImPulsTanz 2012 in her duet with Benoît Lachambre. This year, Matsune will be her adept collaborator.
