PROGRAMME
Fifty-two. That’s the number of artistically productive years American dance educator Joe Alegado has spent in countless studios and performance spaces around the world to date. He was a solo dancer with the New York-based Ballet Hispánico, a member of the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble and the José Limón Dance Company. In the scope of the ImPulsTanz Workshop Festival, he has shown several generations of talented dancers how his particular movement language can enrich their art since 1984. Together with three guest dancers – Blanka Flora Csasznyi (Hungary), Katarina Vlnieskova and Simona Lazurová (Slovakia) – Alegado now presents an exquisite collection of short solos, duets and trios.
