The Heidi Horten Collection, high-profile art collection in Vienna, welcomes an illustrious guest: Emmanuelle Huynh, one of the most well-established representatives of the French dance scene. Huynh has been visiting museums all over the world with a DJ and two dancers since 2019 to start a dialogue with the works exhibited there and elicit secrets from them. Many forgotten stories and hidden layers have come to light in the process. Combined with Paul B. Preciado’s text Moving Bodies, which accompanies Huynh’s Archeologia like a manifesto, this approach offers a fresh look at the exhibition RENDEZ-VOUS: Picasso, Chagall, Klein and their times.
