Conjunto di Nero

“Conjunto die Nero” is what Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten call the third of their most recent work series “Double Points”.
At the beginning of this performance, a heavy darkness is hanging over a dying black swan. The gloominess changes into a striking light wall. Sinister energy and long shadows, the cackling glow of slowly floating lava … a nocturnal secret is imminent in this shadowy work. Exact pieces of synchronic dance are precisely calculated to displacement, the entity of the fixe performers falls apart, and is again reconstructed. Smoke emerges, the sound of a sad song coming from an unknown source.
“Conjunto di Nero” is the first piece of Greco/Scholten’s composed working process in which Greco’s complex dance philosophy is presented as a group work.
