PROGRAMME
Ready for take-off! Eight performers set out into the realm of unlimited imagination on the wings of the ancient and only ever indirectly fulfilled dream of breaking free from the bonds of the body in order to lift off – for example, in the direction of a mysterious planet called Ayviss. The new dance-theatre music piece with visual interventions by Japanese-born dancer, performer, singer and choreographer Akemi Takeya, who has been living and working in Vienna since 1992, is fuelled by a surrealistic science-fiction fantasy that revolves around the human desire to outgrow oneself, to overcome one’s limitations and venture into the infinite expanses of the fantastic and the unknown. This will be another courageous experiment by the humorous inventor of the ironic-critical philosophy of art that is Lemonism.
