LACE Movement Dance Class
A Favorite T-shirt Kind of Class with Nicola Visser

Tuesday, 15.7., 9:30-11:00
Arsenal – Studio F

Free entry

Join the series of free, open-level classes the LACE Symposium offers in the mornings before the official program begins!

This dance practice class centers around a favorite improvisation score—a beloved movement task that, for Nicola, never gets old, but instead folds and creases in all the best ways. Afterward, you’ll feel nourished, gathered, and quietly ready for the day ahead.

It’s the kind of class that makes sense in a favorite T-shirt way: full of the familiar, a little bit awkward, and entirely “just as you are.”
Half-hearted is welcome. Slow is welcome. Not-quite-awake is welcome. Soft attention is welcome.

You can expect some guided solo time, your own movement, partnering, touch on the back, touch to the hands, stillness, and listening—as vital, calming resources.

The class is open to everyone—all levels and backgrounds are warmly welcome.
