PROGRAMME
Chance to Dance is a collaboration with CAPE 10 and offers a unique opportunity for children from socially disadvantaged schools to discover and develop their artistic talents. Through ImPulsTanz workshops, creative and physical activities, as well as social and emotional development, the children can build self-confidence and form new friendships. Each week concludes with a final performance. Chance to Dance is made possible thanks to the support of Licht ins Dunkel.
Over the course of two weeks, 80 children taking part in Chance to Dance, in cooperation with ImPulsTanz, will learn House Dance with Marie Kaae, Afro Fusion with Kafeela Ade, as well as Hip Hop with Jermaine Brown and Krumping with Jr Maddripp. On 25 July and 1 August, they will showcase what they’ve learned, with free entry for all, accompanied by plenty of music and a varied supporting programme.
