Are you looking for a cosy place to stay during your ImPulsTanz summer? OR: You don't want your Viennese apartment to grow lonely and rather introduce our workshop participants to the Viennese art of living? Some useful information HERE
LASS SPRINGEN! (let it flow)
Dance workshops for socially disadvantaged children and teenagers.
Dancing not only raises spirits and is great fun, it also makes you braver, smarter and stronger. Just one reason why we are happy and glad to be offering a versatile program for our youngest dancers - and we do not wish to exclude anyone from it.
LASS SPRINGEN! *)
Already in the spring, we started a donation campaign and asked for help to enable economically disadvantaged kids and teenagers to partake in our workshops as well. We would like to use this opportunity to truly thank you for all the donations we have received thus far. Many workshop packages - consisting of 1 workshop, a lunch at our cafeteria as well as a festival t-shirt - have been taped and tied so far, which is why many children and teenagers have been invited to our festival via the association Flucht nach Vorn as well as the SOS KInderdorf Österreich.
LASS SPRINGEN! Poci-Wien
We were also able to start up a large pilot project within an international framework: the Poci summer camps. Resulting from a cooperation between with the international as well as the Italian SOS KInderdorf, the Poci Retreats and multiple socio-cultural organizations, there will be a creative summer camp for displaced, partly traumatized teenagers all summer long. Here, we were not only able to collaboratively work on the concept but also to include Melika Ramic and Daniel Aschwanden as workshop supervisors. The boys (participants?) will be at ImPulsTanz for another week, where they will participate in workshops ranging from hip hop to Urban Caribbean as well as research project on happiness.
We are looking forward to your visit!
There is great demand for more kids to be able to join as well, so our motto is – as before – lass springen – let it flow!
