Workshops for blind and partially sighted
Vienna based French choreographer Anne Juren invites blind and partially sighted people to "one-on-one" workshops. Starting point of the workshop is the question "How can a choreography be conveyed through kinesthetic sensation only?". By using voice and sounds she leads the participants onto a trip through their bodies and organs. Thus she will a.o. create visual images, especially emphasizing on the notion of “pleasure” and “desire”. Also seeing people are cordially invited to making this experience. The particpiants will also be asked their expertise and feedback, as the material gathered in the workshop might become footage for her performance Blind Spot.
