What does Public Moves stand for?

Public move stands for admission free open classes for everyone in public spaces. ImPulsTanz teachers share their knowledge and passion for dance in different outdoor locations on a daily basis. Every age, level and ability is welcome!

How can you register for Public Moves Workshops in 2020?

Reservations are possible one day before the workshop takes place via our website (starting at midnight) or by phone at +43.1.523 55 58-19 (daily from 14:00 to 16:00).

Your name, telephone number and e-mail address are required for this. We need this information in order to contact you should there be any changes and to send you your registration confirmation by e-mail, which has to be presented on arrival at the workshop location. If you do not have an e-mail address and have registered by phone, you will only need to show photo identification on site. Should you not be able to attend your reserved workshop at short notice, we would kindly ask you to cancel your place via the link in your reservation confirmation at least one hour before the start of the workshop. This way you give someone else the chance to participate. In case of a confirmed COVID-19 case, your data has to be provided to the Health Department of the City of Vienna for contact tracing. Beyond that, no data will be passed on to any third party.

Your reservation is valid until 10 minutes before the workshop starts, after that it is going to be deleted and released for on-site registrations.

You can also come by spontaneously, in which case the registration will be done directly at the location. However, to avoid waiting times, we kindly ask you to register digitally or by phone in advance.
Furthermore we can only guarantee you a place if you pre-register, as we have to limit the number of participants due to the distancing regulations. If a workshop is listed as "Fully booked" on our website, there is the possibility to get a remainder place on site. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this.

What needs to be considered?

In order to make Physical Dis-dancing as safe as possible, squares or circles are marked on the dance floor as well as on the lawn. This makes it easier to keep the legally required distance and provides enough space for carefree dancing. Additionally, the dance floor will be cleaned before and after every workshop. Should you need a mat for a class, we will make a note of this in the workshop description. For sanitary reasons we unfortunately cannot provide them and have to ask you to bring your own.

Participation in the workshops is at your own risk. ImPulsTanz/Wiener Tanzwochen is not liable for any injuries or the possible transmission of COVID-19.

Where do the workshops take place?

In 2020 the workshops take place in seven different public places and parks all over Vienna.
