Will ImPulsTanz 2021 take place?

We optimisticly hope that ImPulsTanz will take place this summer. We are currently planning performances in theatres and museums, workshops and research projects at Arsenal as well as the free Public Moves classes in public spaces – we are also intensively thinking about how the Soçial music programme and the associated festival lounge can take place. Above all, it is important to us to stick to an international programme. Our goal is to bring people from all over the world together in Vienna and to facilitate dialogue. Of course, with a watchful eye on all the measures that will await us in the summer to ensure maximum safety for the artists present, the audience, the participants and our team! We will know in the next few months what this will look like in concrete terms and we will work out and consequently implement appropriate concepts. We will prepare different scenarios and do everything necessary to offer dance an international stage again this summer. The booking start for workshops and research projects is sheduled for 15th April. A pre-sale for selected performances will start on 18th May, all others will follow on 15th June. We ask you to consider all FAQs and information against this background. We will keep you informed. Your ImPulsTanz team

Which COVID-19 measures need to be considered?

There must always be a free space between the seats of different buyers – this is automatically ensured by the system. A maximum of four customers belonging to one visitor group may sit next to each other. You will probably have to wear a mask until you take your seats. The seat may not be changed. Free seats serve to maintain the physical distance. The name of the purchaser or the visitor indicated by the purchaser will be printed on most of the tickets – in case of a Corona Cluster, it must be possible for the ticket purchaser to inform the Sanitätsdirektion Wien (authorities), upon request, who attended the performance in the seats purchased. As a COVID-19 prevention, standing room is not offered until further notice. Any liability of ImPulsTanz and Culturall in connection with the rules of conduct and safety measures is excluded. Before your visit to the performance, please inform yourself about the currently valid measures on our website. Changes to the COVID-19 rules of conduct/measures do not entitle the cancellation of purchased tickets.
