After his study at the Folkwang Hochschule he danced at the Folkwang Tanzstudio and from 1985 to 1987 he was a guest dancer unter Pina Bausch. With the work "Das kalte Gloria", which he choreographed for the Folkwang Tanzstudio in 1988 he earned a reputaion as a highly talented youn choreographer. For two years now he has been working as a dancer an astistic partner with Susanne Linke
