Felice Wolfzahn (US)

BIOGRAPHY

Felice Wolfzahn is a dancer, teacher,and choreographer and a veteran teacher of Contact Improvisations.Her performance and teaching work combines investigations into Contact Improvisation, Authentic Movement, New DanceTechnique and collaborations with artists of other disciplines including music and theater. Felice spent time in Europe teaching at The School for New Dance Development as well as other centers and studios. She collaborated and toured with Daniel Lepkoff for several years and danced with several choreographers from New York including Pooh Kaye and Victoria Marks. Felice continues to create her own performance work and collaborations. She will feature a new piece entitled 'Mothers Ask" at the Amherst faculty concert at the end of April. Felice currently lives in Shelburne Falls, MA and is a regular guest teacher in the Five Colleges, Marlboro, PVPA, and at Bennington College in VT. She taugh at Earthdance in Nov, 2004.
