John Jasperse is a choreographer living in New York City. His work has been presented by festivals and presenting organizations in New York City and abroad including Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris, France), Künstlerhaus Mousonturm (Frankfurt, Germany), Rencontres Internationales Chorégraphiques de Bagnolet (Bagnolet, France), Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater (Tel Aviv, Israel), among others. Since 1991, he has regularly taught workshops and classes in the United States, South America and Europe. As a dancer/performer, he worked with Lisa Kraus and Dancers, with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's Rosas, performing in „Ottone, Ottone" and with Jennifer Monson.
