Olena Polianska is a dance and theatre pedagogue as well as a philologist for Slavic languages. She has experience in teaching contact improvisation as well as performative and somatic practices, and her work is grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach. Olena works with people of all ages, both amateurs and professional dancers. She teaches for theatre and dance groups (Deutsches Theater in Berlin, Perform[d]ance e.V. in Stralsund), at festivals (Solo & Contact Improvisation Tirol Festival, Festival SOS - Schools On Stage, Theater Vorpommern GmbH) and in educational projects (including Moving Borders – international workshop meeting of Aerowaves Europe, Herbstwerkstatt für Tanzkomplizen and TanzZeit e.V. in Berlin). This year she joined the team of the Tanz und Schule e.V. project focusing on dance in Munich.
