Throughout her career, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Simone Forti, Jozef Fruček, Birgit Mühlmann-Wieser, Willi Dorner, Barbi Ruder, Shi Pratt, and Anna Holter, among others.
Since 2017, Gat has focused on performing for and with young audiences, working closely with Dschungel Wien, the VRUM collective, and Töchter der Kunst. In the same year, she founded Lazuz, creating her own dance productions and collaborations, including Hüpfen, Clay Play, Anne Frank, and So nah wie nicht zuvor. Her works have been featured at the Klakkota Festival (IN), The Train Theatre (IL), Pelzverkehr (AT), Trallallà Festival (IT), Kliker Festival (CH), and other venues.
Gat was a 2022 scholar of both the ATLAS programme at ImPulsTanz and the StrartsStipendium (BMKOES). Since 2023, she has been an active member of the Young Dance Network (YDN). She recently partnered with the community organisation Zusammen, where she leads regular movement sessions for children. Additionally, she teaches dance and theatre workshops in schools and assists with Dschungel Wien’s Werkstatt program Hopepunks.
Gat draws inspiration from her experiences leading school workshops and from her deep connection with her daughters and their friends. She believes that working with and empowering younger generations is essential for nurturing a stronger, more meaningful future – one rooted in growth, hope, and unity. She approaches her work with sincerity, empathy, and a steadfast belief in the power of connection.
