Magdalena “Maggy” Schlesinger has been active in breaking/breakdancing since 2004. She headed the Elements of Style cultural association and organised numerous battles. She is co-founder and leader of the B-Girl Circle project, a HipHop and breaking project for girls, women and flinta*. She gives workshops, courses and training courses and also appears on stage herself. She works both solo and as part of the artist collective SILK Fluegge. In her artistic work she combines her background in breaking with influences from contemporary dance and performance art.
