PROGRAMME
Rosa Braber (1989, she/her) works as a performer, actress, author and director in Vienna. Since graduating from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2012, she has realised numerous solo performances and collaborative theatre projects. In 2013, she published her first volume of poems and moved to Vienna. Her poetry appears regularly in the Dutch literary magazine Papieren Helden. Between 2015 and 2020 she worked as an actress with the Bernhard Ensemble. In 2019, she was invited to the Jan van Eyck Academy as writer in residence. She co-founded the Wolf Collective and has created performances such as the STELLA*20-nominated Planet Sis. 2023 Rosa was a participant in the ATLAS programme of ImPulsTanz. With the working grant from the city of Vienna (Arbeitsstipendium der Stadt Wien) 2025, she explores the connection between birth, motherhood and art in BIRTH. In 2026 she is artist in residence at the Akureyri Art Museum in Iceland. In her work she combines art forms and creates new levels of meaning.
