Blanka Flora Csasznyi studied at The Place – London Contemporary Dance School and the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy where she entered into the BA program for Contemporary Dance. She later received her BA at the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy, where she also completed her MA as a dance teacher. In 2021, she was awarded the Viktor Fülöp Fellowship for Pedagogy.
For ten years, she has worked with American born dancer and choreographer Joe Alegado (creator of the Shifting Roots-Alegado Movement Language) as a teacher and co-creator. In these ten years, she has had the opportunity to teach and choreograph in the Shifting Roots – AML worldwide and in 2020 became the first person to be certified as a Shifting Roots-AML teacher.
