Vasko Nasonov is dancer, teacher, and performer. He began with HipHop and House Dance, participating in many Russian and international battles such as Juste Debout Italy, SDK Europe, U-13, and RMT. From 2016, Vasko worked with FarFor Yo dance company for three years. The company blends HipHop techniques with Contemporary Dance. This experience sparked his interest in researching Contemporary Dance. During this period, he also practised Capoeira, Acrobatics, and Yoga, which later influenced his movement practice. Since 2017, he has been part of Kseniya Shlezinger's educational laboratory, where he deepened his knowledge of contemporary techniques. He also took part in Intensives with Eastman, Ultima Vez, DAR, and ImPulsTanz. In 2019, he won the ImPulsTanz Freestyle Dance Contest.
Throughout his career, Vasko has collaborated with various choreographers, including Yoann Bourgeois, Mike Tyus, Ofir Yudilevich, Tomislav English, Niels Robitzky, Tori Wrånes, Kseniya Shlezinger, Tatiana Chizhikova, Elena Fokina, Anna Abalikhina, Pavel Glukhov, and others. He is a dancer with Kseniya Shlezinger's dance project and has performed as a guest dancer with the Yoann Bourgeois dance company, The Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre, Fomenko Workshop Theatre, and other projects worldwide.
Vasko is also developing as a teaching artist and has led workshops at ArtEZ University (Netherlands), Henny Jurriëns Studio (Netherlands), Performact Programme (Portugal), Unusual Symptoms dance company (Germany), IDW Budapest (Hungary), Equilibrio Ensemble (Italy), B12 Festival (Germany), Dance Without Limits (Czech Republic), Le Facteur (France), TanzQuartier (Austria), Kezer Belle (Hungary), DO Festival (Poland), and many other festivals across Russia, including Open Look Festival and Context. Diana Vishneva.
He has also been a guest teacher for Batsheva Dance School, Inbal Dance Theatre, Boris Eifman Academy, Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, Kolben Dance Company, Vertigo Dance Programme, Practice Dance Programme, Research Dance Programme, and I-Dance M Programme, among others.
