Suni Löschner (AT)

BIOGRAPHY

Suni Löschner was born in Vienna in 1978 and began her dance training with Aurelia Staub. In 2001 she received her dance pedagogy diploma from the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz. In the same year she received the BKA and the danceWEB scholarships. This was followed by further training at MAPA under the direction of Ide van Heiningen and ex.e.r.ce at the CCN in Montpellier under the direction of Mathilde Monnier. Suni has danced with Pierre Droulers and Jan Langedijk, among others. Since 2009 she has also been working as a dance teacher for children, young people and adults and is the mother of two children. Suni Löschner teaches at ImPulsTanz, KinderUniKunst, Bewegtes Lernen as well as OEAD KulturKontakt and runs her own dance courses for children in Vienna throughout the year. In 2011 she founded SENIOREN.TANZEN together with Katharina Weinhuber. Together they developed the dance piece for seniors BILDER EINER FRAU in 2017 and ÜBER DIE SCHÖNHEIT in 2021. In 2023, the third dance piece for seniors ÜBER DAS ERINNERN will celebrate its premiere.
