Jen Rosenblit makes performance between Berlin and New York City engaging bodies, architectures and ideas surrounding the discontents of desire and autonomy. Her recent work "Clap Hands" (2016) and the companion work "Swivel Spot" (2017) as well as "Everything Fits In The Room" (2017), a collaboration with Simone Aughterlony, have lead her on an inquiry toward the uncanny and maintenance of care. Rosenblit received
a 2014 New York Dance and Performance “Bessie” Award for Emerging Choreographer and was included in MoMA PS1’s Greater New York exhibition in October 2015. Rosenblit is currently researching "Stand In", a 2018 Chocolate factory premiere in NYC, and continues to collaborate with Simone Aughterlony.
