BIOGRAPHY

Attila Zanin was born in 1979 in Vienna, studied at the Ballet School of the Vienna State Opera and graduated at the HipHop education Urban Styles in Stuttgart, in the dance styles HipHop, House, Electric Boogaloo and Robot Dance with Marco Macal and Niels Storm Robitzky. He also took lessons with dance masters such as Brian Footwork Green, Mr. Wiggles, Sugar Pop, Super Dave, Bruce Ykanji, Damon Frost, Lollipop Sanchez, Junior, AMIGO Kadir Menis, K-Lee, Joker, Dominique Lisette. He danced in numerous projects, Don Giovanni (Schönbrunn), Klangwolke (Linz), the musical Sissi (Bad Ischl), CON-SENS-US (Krefeld), 3 ha (Dusseldorf) and Off ballet special I, II (Vienna) a.o.

Since 1999, he teaches HipHop in Austria and abroad in youth centres and studios, as well as at the ProArt Festival Prague, the BigsMile Studio Vienna and Deutsche Pop (Academy of Music, Dance and Media), where he is specialised in Old School (Locking/Popping). He was in the Jury of several HipHop battles and a member of the Vienna HipHop group Soulosophy.

Attila is connected to the association Ich bin O.K. since his childhood. He has been working as a teacher and choreographer and is the artistic director since 2009. In 2010 he founded the artistic and inclusive Ich bin O.K. Dance Company, together with Hana Zanin and choreographed the pieces Moha in Dir and Getrennt-Vereint, which have been presented in Austria, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic.
