Dorzile, Daybee aka Daybee Dee is a trilingual dance and music artist with nearly 30 years of professional experience spanning teaching, performance, choreography, and international touring. A self-taught dancer since the 1980s, she has collaborated with a diverse range of artists across numerous musical genres, including global icons such as Mariah Carey, Craig David, Seeed, Sarah Connor, Peter Fox, Lou Bega, Kassav, David Guetta, Tarkan, Flo Rida, Jan Delay, Miss Platnum, Scooter, Kesha, and the X Factor TV show.
Daybee’s unique dance style is deeply connected to the rhythms of the African diaspora. Born and raised in the suburbs of Paris with roots in Guadeloupe, she was immersed in a rich cultural tapestry, shaped by HipHop culture and the vibrant traditions of African and Latin music and dance. This multicultural upbringing has allowed her to craft a distinctive movement vocabulary, blending styles such as HipHop, Hype Dance, House Dance, Afro-House, Latin dances, Afro styles, Dancehall, and Waacking.
With an unwavering passion for dance, Daybee continues to share her knowledge, honouring the foundations of each style while exploring their interconnections. Whether on stage or in the studio, her work is a testament to the power of rhythm, movement, and cultural exchange.
Renowned for her vibrant and dynamic teaching style, Daybee’s workshops are an immersive experience that exude joy while being rooted in a refined and effective methodology.
