Maartje Pasman (AT/NL)
Maartje Pasman (1988) is a Dutch performer and artist who lives in Vienna. She has appeared in the works of Florentina Holzinger, Renate Graziadei, Wies Merkx, Keren Levi and many others and was a member of the ensemble of De Dansers (NL) and Dschungel Wien (AT) for many years. As an interpreter, Maartje has played in countless pieces for a young audience, which have made her known worldwide, including at the Ubumuntu Festival (RW), ASSITEJ Festival (KOR), Tweetakt (NL) and SWOP (DK). She received the Stella14 Prize for Performing Arts as an "outstanding actress" and danced in "Roses" (Wies Merkx) and "Couple Like # 2" (Keren Levi & Ugo Dehaes), both for "the best outstanding performance for a young Audience"were awarded. As a freelance artist she was seen at the SCHÄXPIR Festival (AT) and worked with D.ID - Dance Identity (AT), Wiener Konzerthaus / JEUNESSE (AT), hetPALEIS (BE), Stadttheater Konstanz (DE) and many others. Maartje has a BA in Contemporary Dance from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (2010) and is the recipient of the danceWEB scholarship for the ImPulsTanzfestival 2018, the Start Scholarship 2018 from the Federal Chancellery Austria and the Work Scholarship 2020 of the City of Vienna. Maartje is always looking for new artistic ways to create high quality performances for a young audience.
