Shake the Break 2019

Dance and Theatre Workshops for Children & Youth
A project by Dschungel Wien and ImPulsTanz

Dschungel Wien and us, we see it as our task, to save you from boredom during your summer holidays. And we will succeed, with the help of a whole bunch of cool and funny people, who are really good at dancing, acting, making music and also jokes.
From 15th July to 9th August everyone between 3,5 and 15 is welcome to join the 14 five-days-workshops, that last between 1 and 3 (XS–L) hours each day.

The youngest will train their calves while jumping like kangaroos and floating like colourful cloths that get thrown up in the air really high. Try dancing like a power shovel, or like people from very far away: How does one move to the rhythm in Senegal? And how in India? And can you combine it, let’s say, with a rhythm you produce only with your mouth? Right, also for those HipHop loving boys and girls there is a lot to explore, as well as for climbers, for animal lovers and even for detectives, so yes, really, there is something for everyone.

Are there holidays yet?

Date & Place: The Shake the Break Workshops take place from Monday to Friday between 15th July and 09th August 2019 at Dschungel Wien.
