Being physical without force
In this intense session together I would like to focus on forming functional bases and understandable processes of learning. We will cover the concept of dancing from bone placement and allowing muscle to follow. There will be a lot of time for individual work, watching each other and analysing each other’s movement. We will deal mostly with the three basic linear positions, front, side and back, relevé, plié, alignment for en dehors work and jumping steps like glissade, changement, and assemblé. The movement combinations will get longer and more complex to see what dysfunction hides in individual approaches.
The main goal is physical. Being physical without force, having respect for the bone structure of the body, allowing weight to enhance muscular response. Improvement is guaranteed!
Although this is a class on technique be prepared to laugh, have positive experiences and have fun.
