applied poetics in urban space
by exploring choreographic and performative strategies
the body is instrument to sense, to relate, to construct and to physically understand space and activate alternative imaginaries. the public space is the laboratory for a physical learning of possible freedom and its structural, social and architectural borders and territories.
it is about non-spaces, dysfunctional spaces, urban wounds and symbolic spaces to compare them and to touch and explore their potentials. the body will be an instrument to investigate relations in space and movements in the city. what are the practices and the rhythms inscribed in spaces and in our bodies, the inscripted spatial practice? how can we use our body as a tool to disrupt functionalities and normatives of daily routines? how can we create resistant communities with our bodies?
The choreographer and artist Claudia Bosse will experiment with different performative and choreographic strategies in order to read the urban space as a text for physical involvements.
