Energetic Icons

Energetic Icons is a workshop for people with and without physical disabilities, with and without machines, and with and without body extensions. We will gently engage in an archaeology of energy and explore where the excavation will lead us and which forms of energetic release we can find. Each body has different possibilities to shape his/her individual energy. The method developed by Doris is called "Energetic Icons" and allows for more and more individual and collective energetic dance forms over the course of the weekend. What movements are like batteries, that charge the body? Where do bodies set out, when their batteries are gradually filled? Walking on legs, moving in wheelchairs, sitting on machines, carrying prostheses, being supported by crutches – in Energetic Icons we move more and more into a dance, in which the energy of a movement is more important than its form and where we can experience the transmission of energy from human to human as well as from human to machine.
