Claudia Bosse / theatercombinat (AT/DE)

a third step to IDEAL PARADISE

Completely new perspectives on the crises of our time are revealed in this, the third step towards an ideal paradise: on three days the installation a second step to IDEAL PARADISE becomes the score for a choreographed, interactive performance: now performers intervene in the world created by Claudia Bosse in five rooms of the Weltmuseum. They use the objects and materials that furnish these rooms and pick up the narratives of the themes developed by Bosse: colonialism, cultural projection, the construction of ideology/-ies and ideal communities. The performers become agents of action and speech. When attempting to orient themselves in the midst of the complexities of the fictional and at the same time real universe of artefacts provided by Bosse and the museum, they merge their actions with the spatial arrangements of the installation and with the paths and reactions of the visitors.

World premiere
Duration: 90 min
