Georgia Vardarou (BE/GR)
Between conflict and harmony, isolation and togetherness, three young women examine a range of events that arise from the emergence of hidden stories or the outbreak of urgencies. In her new piece, “Phenomena”, Greek choreographer Georgia Vardarou – who performed her solo “Hardcore Research on Dance” at ImPulsTanz 2012 – investigates the whole spectrum of personal and individual dance movements. The trio concentrates on displaying how the absurdity of movements may be charged with meaning by virtue of the dancers’ total dedication. The intense lighting is designed by Salva Sanchis, and the sound comprises remixes of music by Philip Glass.
