Olivier Dubois (FR)
Three years ago, he danced his wild, passionate and threatening faun in Vienna. Now the French dancer and choreographer Olivier Dubois is a lonesome hero once more. A man who revolts. Caged like an animal, he rages behind the bars of an imposing red metal scaffold in red heels and a mini dress. Draped with megaphones, he announces what needs to be said and dances, bathed in blood-red light, to the martial songs of the USSR’s Red Army Choir. “Rouge” is Part 2 of a Revolution Trilogy that revolves around atmosphere, colour and the tragedy of rebellion.
