Fico Training and Performing Now
Did you ever catch yourself after a performance saying: "It was ok, there were some nice moments..." ? If yes, then ask yourself why these moments are not all the show. How is it, as a performer, to be always aware, in the moment, in the inner body, and simultaneously in the body of the audience – how is it to create a physical co-existence between you as a performer and the audience?
In this workshop, the participants will search for answers on these questions with a set of basic tools for controlling the own thoughts, directions of inner body, usage of gestures and actions.
The method for this workshop is a synthesis of dance techniques and tools that Goran Bogdanovski has developed intensively throughout the last ten years. Ranging from classical ballet to martial arts, from modern to contemporary dance, from Qigong to Kundalini meditation and dynamic meditation and from contact to theatre improvisations.
Fico Training and Improvisation Tools
Fico training is a unique learning programme which provides movement and dance to receive an insight into the own body and self. Fico training is not just a dance class: It is not about how to dance, but what to do with it. With Bogdanovski's self-created training method, participants will train their body, spirit and mind through dance. The training starts with lifting up the pulse, followed by awakening the inner body, the centres and the energy. Afterwards, participants will apply different solo-duet-group tools for improvisation, such as Clear Information, Empty the body, Trust, Opposites, Steal, Decide-Respond, Follow-Lead...
