Set free your phantasy!
After a gentle warm up and some essential bodywork we will delve into a choreographic workshop, where new talents can be discovered, sensed and cultivated. Through improvisational images, preset tasks, as well as individual ideas and requests from participants we will arrive at a visionary and self-developed choreography.
"The suggestion and wish to work with people of 55+ of age are rooted in my work with the Age Company which I direct since 2009 in Vienna, with dancers aged from 55 to 80 years."
Contemporary Technique Beginners
anatomic journeys as the root for dance
"My movement vocabulary is a very personal mix of all the years of experience as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Still dancing, I am interested in a clear structuring of the training, starting from floor and body work to technique, merging into improvisation and composition.“
In this workshop the focus is on a dance process, based on small anatomic journeys. Clearly structured exercises concentrate on topics such as the hands, the spine, the face and will lead us to new enchanting body sensations and movements. Additionally we will refresh our knowledge about the form and structure of our body. By the end of the class we will be exploring our creativity in free dancing through improvisation where the encounter with other participants will come to the fore. Thus we will get to know ourselves through others!
