Ultima Vez Repertory
Risk. Instinct. Speed. Animality
'The eyes close. Blackout. During the time that it takes the body to touch the floor, a series of unique movements occur for the first and last time.
Those are the ones that interest us.'
“In this workshop I will approach the basis of the work of Ultima Vez from my personal experience with the company. It is about body mechanisms that allow you to reach physical extremes, you yourself or you with others, while at the same time protecting the body. This requires to move out of necessity, to give meaning to the movement. We will work with a mix of ideas and material without focusing on one performance in particular.”
