Free Style Jazz
ease our minds and tingle our soul
„My conception is pretty simple giving me the possibility to take the dancers through different moods, different sensations, different atmospheres. We will visit different parts of the world – musically, we will explore whichever continent fits in our moods.
After a thorough warmup and travelling across the floor we will spend time with a combination that might be a LYRICAL JAZZ phrase, could be an AFRO JAZZ or a HIP FUNK JAZZ combination, it could be a BLUES JAZZ dance or a melting pot of moods and styles. We will just bring our bodies and let them sway to some beautiful music, that will ease our minds and tingle our soul.“

Just join in the fun, jump in the line and shake your body in time!
The class will be based on moving across the floor, a mixture of Jazz Dance and very strong influences of African Dance (hence the name Afro Jazz), with a touch of Caribbean grooves to the melodies of Fela Kuti, Tony Allen, The Afro Beats, Calyspos and Islands grooves.
Free'n easy, no headaches, no complex. Just join in the fun, jump in the line and shake your body in time!
