"Disfigure Study" In 1991 "Disfigure Study" introduced the young American choreographer Meg Stuart to a wider audience and marked the beginning of her outstanding career. Since Stuart does not keep a repertoire, this re-performance of a key piece of 1990s experimental choreography constitutes a rare and precious event. Featuring a new cast, consisting of Simone Aughterlony, Joséphine Evrard and Michael Ruegg, this work is more than a mere document of our time; it demonstrates, how eloquently the exposed human body will tell his own story, a story full of miseries and apocalypses.
