The naked bodies of four female dancers, turning their backs on the audience. A look on a body’s surface turns into a vision of its internal universe … Young Austrian choreographer Saskia Hölbling has studied the works of French video artist Laurent Goldring; in an intense live performance she transfers his ideas to the stage. The dancers’ bodies become symbols for the body as such and ironically mirror the image we tend to have about women.
