"walk + talk N°5"

Many dancing professionals have searched for their own language of movement, but only few have achieved their goal. Austrian Philipp Gehmacher, who has made a name for himself internationally as a masterful dancer and radical choreographer, is among those few, as is evident in all his works, including “mountains are mountains” and “incubator”. Within the framework of a curation for Tanzquartier Wien, Gehmacher invented the “walk + talk” format. In his own contribution he provides an exciting insight into his understanding of what dance is.
