"Pièces"

Four short works, merged to form a unity, constitute "pièces". In "8 mn" and its sequel, "12 mn", Monnier excels as a spellbinding solo dancer, in "sursauts" she dances with Bertrand Davy and fifiteen guests, whereas "signé au singulier" is an enthralling derivative of "Signé", Monniers awe-inspiring homage to Merce Cunningham, which was a year 2000 special creation for Vienna.
