"Déroutes"

A network of hidden relationships developing on a stage that is bordered by a variety of tubes and inflatable objects. Thirteen dancers, male and female, are encountering each other on an plain and start to walk. Mathilde Monniers piece "déroutes" is based on Georg Buechner’s "Lenz", yet the original text is being grinded under the weight of countless steps and scattered to form a pattern of hooded cues, deleted movements, reluctant steps and dynamic time units. Within this apparent chaos ("déroute"), small-scale catastrophies take place, and figures collapse under the solitary strain of walking along. eRikm, icon of electronic music, is among those contributing to the (live) score.
