A cloaked figure in a red checked jacket is plying with a variety of objects: shining eggs, flowers, and coins. Balloons filled with red granules are swishing, and taws are clicking in a metal box. The stage for "autant vouloir le bleu du ciel et m’en aller sur un âne" is divided into two chambers. In this environment French multitalent Christian Rizzo - he is a fashion designer as well as a rock musician, visual artist and choreographer - does indeed conjure up some great magic. He is operating his own leg with a pair of scissors. He is transforming himself into a man wearing a wig, a shaggy beast and a diabolical musician with a cracking voice. Sound, light and dance are moving between explosion and stagnation, are drifting from ritual-like moments to become dangerous hurricanes - and back again to contemplative meditation.
